RAMALLAH, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Tuesday razed a large swath of Palestinian-owned agricultural land in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to a local official.
Marwan Sabbah, Head of Umm Safa Village Council, said that the occupying forces levelled cultivated lands belonging to several villagers in the Jabal Al-Ras area, which forms an integral part of the village.
He added that the occupying forces had issued military orders expropriating large tracts of the villagers’ lands in the northern part of the village to make room for the expansion of a nearby colonial outpost.
