Israeli occupation forces seize 15 homes in Jenin village, turn them into military posts

JENIN, June 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have seized 15 homes in the village of Anza, south of Jenin, turning them into military outposts after forcibly evicting the residents, according to local sources.

Tayseer Sadaqa, head of the Anza Village Council, told WAFA that Israeli troops forced 15 families out of their homes under threat and converted the houses into military barracks amid an ongoing military offensive that began Thursday evening.

Sadaqa added that the occupation forces have been carrying out large-scale raids across the village, detaining and assaulting several residents, and detaining a number of them.

The incursion into Anza coincided with similar raids in other nearby towns and villages in southern Jenin, including Qabatiya, Arraba, Meithalun, and Ajja.
