Israeli forces raid several cities in the West Bank, break into money exchange shops

RAMALLAH, May 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided several West Bank cities on Tuesday.

WAFA correspondents said that Israeli occupation forces raided the cities of Jenin, Nablus, Tubas, and Qalqilya, raiding several money exchange shops.

In Nablus, a young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during the raid.

WAFA correspondent said that a 32-year-old man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in Hawd area after they raided the vicinity of the Old City of Nablus.

He added that Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus from the Hawara checkpoint and raided the Gulf Exchange at Zawata Roundabout, as well as a gold and jewelry store in the commercial market, amidst gunfire and tear gas canisters.

Israeli occupation forces also raided the city of Qalqilya.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces raided the market area, but no arrests were recorded.

This morning, Israeli occupation forces raided a money exchange shop in the center of Jenin.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the Gulf Exchange in the city center and the vicinity of Cinema Roundabout. They also fired smoke bombs.

It is worth noting that the occupation forces have raided the Gulf Exchange several times in Jenin, most recently in August of last year. At that time, they destroyed its contents, and the shop remained closed until last April.

Today, Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tubas with several patrols.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the city from the Tayasir checkpoint to the east and raided a money exchange shop.

He added that the occupation forces deployed a military bulldozer and several patrols.

Large forces from the Israeli occupation army also raided the city of Bethlehem this morning, via the town of Al-Khader and the Deheishe refugee camp.

Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces entered Bethlehem from the southern entrance, passing through the town of Al-Khader and then the Deheishe refugee camp.
