Several Palestinians killed, including children and journalist, in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and Khan Younis

GAZA, May 15, 2025 (WAFA) – A number of civilians, including two children and a journalist, were killed on Thursday as Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis, according to local sources. Many others, mostly women and children, were also wounded in the attacks.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, three members of the Al-Amour family were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed their home in the town of Al-Fukhari. The victims were identified as Ouda Mohammed Awad Al-Amour, Mohammed Ouda Mohammed Al-Amour, and Mariam Abdul Rahman Hussein Al-Amour.

Additionally, a young girl, Mariam Abdul Rahman Hussein Al-Buraim, succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli airstrike on Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, journalist Ahmad Al-Helou was also killed in an Israeli strike targeting an area in Khan Younis, making him one of the latest media workers to lose their life in the ongoing Israeli genocide.

In a separate incident in Gaza City, north of the enclave, two children were killed when Israeli forces targeted the Al-Amoudi neighborhood.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,928 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 119,846 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
